Commercially available sound recorders are not always equipped with a PiP 3.5mm TRS microphone input, which can be a problem if you own multiple recorders with different input types but only one pair of microphones with a 3.5mm TRS connector. The solution is either to purchase the XLR version of the microphones or to go with a much more economical XLR to TRS adapter.
This stereo adapter consists of two XLR connectors, each containing a transformerless, single-ended (unbalanced) circuit that converts 48V phantom power to 2-5V plug-in power (PiP).
The XLR connectors (Neutrik NC3MXX-B) are wired to a female TRS jack (NYS240BG-U) using Mogami-2697 cable. The coupling electronics PCBs are integrated directly inside the connectors for a compact design.
All our adapters are hand-assembled and soldered using the highest-quality materials, while all integrated components are of high quality and RoHS compliant.
